New York State Wins !
Bill and I are so proud that our home state New York has finally passed Marriage Equality. We worked very hard for this. Now our neighbors won't have to go to outside the state -- like us -- to get married.
We look forward to bringing progress to Pennsylvania where our families live and where we called home for the first three decades of our lives. In fact, even our dog Coco came out of the SPCA in North Philly.

We are so proud and speechless and exhausted! I went through what could only be described as a twitter trench war with 1,000's of others this past week. We all watched (over 30 thousand of us) the Senate vote - when they finally "Let US Vote" on Friday night after stalling us since Monday. We are so thrilled. Congratulations New York!
